What We Do NOT Collect
We want to be clear about what we don't collect:

- Payment or financial information (app is free)

- Public: Visible to all members of your Flock
- Private: Visible to all members of your Flock
- Sensitive: Title hidden from members outside your direct circle
You can choose the privacy level for each prayer request you create.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data or share your personal information.
We may use trusted third-party services that help us operate the app, such as:
- Firebase (Google): For authentication, compliant with Google's privacy and security standards
- Convex: For database and storage of prayers, compliant with SOC 2 Type II standards
- OpenAI: For AI-generated prayer summaries and prayer linking, compliant with enterprise privacy standards
- Sentry: Error monitoring and performance tracking
- Expo: App development and deployment platform
Important: When using OpenAI services, we only send unattributed text content without any personal information or user identifiers. All linkage between content and users happens exclusively within our internal systems.
These partners process data only as needed to provide their services and comply with strict security standards.
Sharing with Other Users
All prayers are private by default, unless you choose to share them with others. In the case of shared prayer topics, the topic owner manages visibility settings.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.
6. Data Security
We use encryption and secure connections (HTTPS) to protect your information in transit and at rest. While no system is completely immune, we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.
7. Your Choices and Control
You can:
- Edit or delete any of your prayers and audio recordings at any time
- Request a copy of your data by contacting support@prayflock.com
- Delete your account to remove your data permanently
- Opt-out of non-essential notifications through app settings

8. Children's Privacy
Flock is intended for users aged 13 and older in the United States. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
